The Emulator is one of the first swing flies Kevin Feenstra developed over two decades ago.   It is a great fly to this day, and is very effective for steelhead, especially in slow to moderate current.     The emulator imitates a sculpin or a goby, and will take a variety of fish in addition to steelhead.    These include trout, smallmouth bass, and northern pike.     This one is tied by Aqua Flies to the specifications of Kevin Feenstra.
